Hello, I’m Nathan the founder and CEO of The Father’s Heart and Southern Smoke BBQ. I was a Jr High teacher for 17 years in the Clay County school system. In 2017 I left to develop The Fathers Heart. Since 2009 we have delivered over a million meals on the First Coast.

Since connecting with this ministry as a volunteer and ministry partner in 2009, my goal has been to bridge the gap between our volunteers and administration. It is my calling and joy to build a relationship with our volunteers through encouragement and organizational content.

We are all called to serve, as our relationship with Christ is woven into all that we do in life. As a volunteer driver for The Father’s Heart Ministries, I receive much more than I give. Feeding families in need is a true gift. In my role as Social Media coordinator, I am able to share the needs of our community to a much broader audience, therefore receiving an abundance of resources and help.

Freddy & Joyce Baker
Generals of Organization
Freddy and Joyce Baker are our Generals of Organization. They run our volunteer troops organizing our grocery packs for monthly distribution. They have faithfully and with great joy served the fine folks on the First Coast and The Father’s Heart for over five years. We are most grateful to have them as they are a crucial piece to the distribution process.
